Ticketing Terms and Conditions
Intrinsic Events Limited
Effective Date: 29 April 2026
These Ticketing Terms and Conditions apply to all music events, concerts, festivals, entertainment events, and ticketed experiences operated or managed by Intrinsic Events Limited.
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and any applicable venue conditions of entry.
1. General
Tickets purchased through authorised ticketing providers are subject to these Terms and Conditions.
Intrinsic Events reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions where reasonably necessary.
2. Ticket Purchases
All ticket prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars and include GST where applicable
- Booking fees, processing fees, transaction fees, and venue levies may apply in addition to the advertised ticket price
- Tickets must only be purchased through authorised ticketing providers
- Tickets may not be resold for commercial gain, promotional purposes, or competitions without written permission from Intrinsic Events
Tickets remain the property of Intrinsic Events until fully paid.
3. No Refund Policy
All ticket sales are final.
No refunds or exchanges will be provided for:
- Change of mind
- Failure to attend
- Late arrival
- Illness or personal circumstances
- Weather conditions
- Artist, performer, or programme changes
- Schedule or set time changes
- Dissatisfaction with performers or event content
- Refusal of entry due to intoxication, disorderly behaviour, or failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions
This policy is subject to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986.
Booking fees, processing fees, and transaction fees are non refundable.
4. Event Changes and Cancellation
Intrinsic Events reserves the right to:
- Change event dates, venues, times, schedules, or programme content
- Add, withdraw, or substitute artists, performers, or attractions
- Modify venue layouts, seating, capacities, or event format where required
No refunds will be issued due to these changes.
If an event is postponed, tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date.
If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, ticket holders may be entitled to a refund of the face value of the ticket only. Booking fees, processing fees, and transaction fees may not be refunded.
5. Entry Conditions
All attendees must:
- Hold a valid ticket
- Comply with venue rules and security requirements
- Follow all instructions from event staff, venue management, and security personnel
Intrinsic Events reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person who:
- Is intoxicated or under the influence of drugs
- Behaves in a disorderly, aggressive, unsafe, or anti social manner
- Refuses security screening or bag inspections
- Possesses prohibited items
- Breaches venue rules or these Terms and Conditions
No refund will be provided where entry is refused or a patron is removed from the event.
6. Age Restrictions
Some events may be restricted to patrons aged 18 years or older.
By purchasing a ticket to an R18 event, you confirm that you are aged 18 years or over and understand that valid government issued photo identification may be required for entry and alcohol service.
Accepted forms of identification may include:
- New Zealand driver licence
- Passport
- Hospitality NZ 18+ card or Kiwi Access Card
All patrons who appear under the age of 25 may be required to present valid identification upon entry.
If you:
Purchase a ticket for an R18 event and are unable to provide valid approved identification, or
Are under the age of 18 and purchase a ticket to an R18 event
you will be refused entry and will not be eligible for a refund.
It is the responsibility of the ticket purchaser to ensure they meet the age requirements before purchasing tickets.
7. Prohibited Items
Unless otherwise permitted by the organiser or venue, prohibited items may include:

- Alcohol
- Illegal substances
- Weapons
- Glass containers
- Dangerous goods
- Laser pointers
- Fireworks or flares
- Drones
- Professional recording equipment
- Any item considered unsafe by security or event staff
Security may inspect bags and personal belongings upon entry.
Prohibited items may be confiscated or refused entry.
8. Health and Safety
Attendees enter events at their own risk.
You must comply with all health and safety requirements and directions issued by event staff, venue personnel, and security.
Live music and entertainment events may involve:
- Loud music and amplified sound
- Strobe lighting and visual effects
- Large crowds
- Uneven surfaces
- Weather exposure
Intrinsic Events reserves the right to remove any person whose behaviour presents a safety risk.
9. Photography and Recording
By attending an event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded.
Images, video, and audio captured at events may be used by Intrinsic Events for promotional, marketing, commercial, or archival purposes without compensation.
Unauthorised commercial recording, livestreaming, or broadcasting is prohibited.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Intrinsic Events is not liable for:
- Loss, theft, or damage to personal property
- Personal injury not caused by organiser negligence
- Travel, accommodation, or associated expenses relating to event changes or cancellation
- Indirect or consequential loss
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits any rights under New Zealand consumer law.
11. Force Majeure
Intrinsic Events is not responsible for delays, postponements, changes, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:
- Severe weather
- Natural disasters
- Public health events
- Government restrictions
- Industrial disputes
- Utility failures
- Venue related issues
12. Privacy
Personal information collected through ticket purchases, registrations, or event participation will be managed in accordance with the Intrinsic Events Privacy Policy.
